We support both public and private sector organizations through two main areas: Consulting — with a focus on strategy, investment analysis, and digital process improvement; IT Team Augmentation — helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams. We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to work on a Tech project.
Responsibilities
•Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, applying object-oriented principles and design patterns consistently
•Implement infrastructure-as-code components using Terraform to support scalable and repeatable environments
•Build and evolve event-driven integrations using Kafka
•Develop and maintain automated tests (unit and integration), applying TDD and shift-left testing practices
•Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and workflows using Git-based version control and automation
•Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments, supporting reliability and performance
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
•5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java backend development
•Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and common design patterns
•Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation
•Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD/shift-left practices
•Proficiency with Git and CI/CD concepts and workflows
•Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures
•Experience working with Kubernetes in development and/or production environments
•Experience with GraphQL Federation
•Knowledge of Azure Cloud
•Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
