About the Role
Just Eat Takeaway.com is a leading global online food delivery platform connecting tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across the globe. As part of this role, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the mobile experience for the global courier network.
Responsibilities
•Exercise complete authority over feature lifecycles, spanning from Microservices API contract definition to final UI delivery.
•Navigate sophisticated engineering hurdles including background location persistence, offline data synchronization, and intelligent routing logic.
•Champion rigorous code reviews and contribute to the continuous optimization of CI/CD deployment pipelines.
•Collaborate with engineering teams and Product Managers in workshops to contribute significantly to defining new product features.
•Consistently deliver high-quality software that meets team best practices and expectations.
•Take complete ownership of components you develop, managing timelines and transparently communicating progress towards wider team and organizational goals.
•Share progress and ideas with the team, and contribute to the growth of the iOS guild by sharing new development practices, patterns, and standards.
•As a Trusted Committer, play a vital role in supporting contributing teams to integrate their features into the codebase.
Requirements
•Expertise in crafting object-oriented, high-performance software characterized by exceptional readability and maintainability.
•Extensive professional experience with the Swift programming language.
•Proven track record implementing diverse design patterns, including MVVM, VIPER, or MVP.
•Demonstrated capability in interfacing with server-side APIs within a complex Microservices ecosystem.
•A profound understanding of building software through decoupled, reusable components.
•Enthusiasm for pair programming, rigorous code reviews, and proactive knowledge exchange.
•Ability to thrive within a high-growth, fast-paced, and evolving technical environment.
•Superior verbal and written communication skills in English.
Conditions
