Product manager in mobile platforms

In short

This role manages the roadmap and strategy for a mobile Enablement Platform at a global online delivery company, owning KPIs, product lifecycle, and stakeholder alignment across engineering and business. The team is JET's mobile centre of expertise, supporting internal teams (other builders, not end users) with reusable, scalable platform products. It requires prior Product Manager experience in Agile teams, ideally with platform/infrastructure and mobile (iOS/Android) experience, plus strong cross-functional collaboration and comfort with ambiguity. Work is hybrid, based in Berlin-Kreuzberg with three office days per week.

About the Role
We're a leading global online delivery platform, and our vision is to empower everyday convenience. Whether it's a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across the globe. As Product Manager for the Enablement Platform, you will be accountable for managing the roadmap and strategy for our critical platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and proactively communicating this with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
•Manage the mobile apps roadmap and strategy, creating a vision that enables stream-aligned teams to deliver experiences more quickly
•Define and instrument platform KPIs linked to business outcomes. Examples include crash-free session rates, self-serve adoption, app-store ratings and sentiment, deployment frequency, deeplink reliability, onboarding completion, and app launch performance
•Conduct user and industry research to identify gaps and opportunities to deliver value faster
•Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify efficiency improvements and prioritise where the platform invests next
•Frame problems with data before prescribing solutions. For each user problem, identify the specific metrics it could move, the supporting analysis, and the remaining unknowns
•Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, translate them into roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery
•Run sprint refinement sessions, kick-off meetings, and own Jira writing and OKR linking for all work coming into the mobile space
•Work with tech managers to ensure platform products are reusable, scalable, and pave the way for future user needs across multiple business domains
•Drive clarity on what can be done, bring problems to solve to the table rather than just solutions, and help the team understand where the biggest platform bottlenecks are
•Communicate the platform vision clearly across the business to drive engagement, adoption, and relevance
•Champion self-service and reduce dependency on the platform team over time, so product teams can do more without waiting
Requirements
•Strong collaboration and relationship-building across engineering, product, and business stakeholders, based on respect and mutual support for success
•Results-driven, with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently while getting into the details when necessary
•Comfortable with ambiguity and able to bring structure to problems that span multiple teams and domains
•Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts quickly as priorities evolve
•Positive, proactive approach with a strong work ethic; celebrate team wins, own your results, and be open to giving and receiving feedback
•Experience as a Product Manager in Agile software development teams, ideally with platform or infrastructure experience
•Experience with mobile platforms specifically (iOS and Android), given this is JET's mobile centre of expertise
•Proven ability to partner with engineering to critically evaluate technical solutions and trade-offs. You don't need to write code, but you need to understand the implications
•Experience managing a platform as a product to support other teams. Your customers are other builders, not end users
•Track record of defining KPIs linked to business outcomes and using data to prioritise investment
•Effective communication of complex matters to non-domain experts in a clear, simple, and concise way
•A proactive approach to finding ways to optimise processes and products
•Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure to problems that span multiple teams and domains
Benefits
•Competitive Compensation: A salary package that recognises your performance – complemented by an open feedback culture and regular performance reviews
•Flexibility: A permanent employment contract with hybrid work options: three days per week in our Berlin-Kreuzberg office and two days working from the comfort of your home
•Urban Sports Club Membership: For your work-life balance and a clear head in your daily routine
•Additional Perks: A monthly travel allowance of €59 and a €90 monthly Lieferando Pay credit to have delicious food delivered straight to your workspace
•Company Pension: A company pension scheme with a 20% employer contribution
•Diversity & Inclusion: A diverse and inclusive team with colleagues from over 99 nations, plus the opportunity to join various communities and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
•Shared Experiences: After-work drinks, regular team events, social engagement activities, as well as summer and/or winter parties
