Job Purpose
The Growth Campaign Strategist owns campaign strategy for a defined business area, end to end. Reporting to the Director, Growth Marketing, the role carries full end-to-end ownership of campaign strategy: setting the direction, planning, measuring and adapting campaigns until they deliver. This is an individual contributor role.
Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
•Own the end-to-end campaign strategy, planning, execution, performance, and optimisation for the assigned business area, ensuring campaigns deliver measurable commercial outcomes and pipeline impact.
•Define campaign objectives, target audiences, buying committees, value propositions, success metrics, and pipeline targets in partnership with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales, and MDR teams.
•Design and execute integrated demand generation and account-based marketing (ABM) programmes across multiple products, regions, and channels, including one-to-one, one-to-few, and one-to-many motions.
•Recommend and manage the optimal audience strategy, channel mix, campaign sequencing, and content requirements to maximise engagement, conversion, and pipeline generation.
•Lead campaign delivery across cross-functional teams and shared services, managing briefs, timelines, dependencies, priorities, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
•Act as the primary owner and point of contact for campaign strategy, providing clear direction, aligning stakeholders, and challenging activities that do not support business objectives.
•Establish measurement frameworks for all campaigns, monitor performance across the full funnel, and ensure success criteria are defined before launch.
•Analyse campaign results, lead testing and experimentation programmes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement data-driven optimisation strategies.
•Drive continuous improvement of campaign operations, governance, reporting standards, prioritisation processes, and ways of working across the marketing organisation.
•Partner with regional and sales teams to support localisation, lead management, account prioritisation, follow-up effectiveness, and pipeline conversion.
•Share campaign insights, lessons learned, and best practices across the organisation to improve future performance and scalability.
•Leverage AI and emerging marketing technologies to improve productivity, audience insights, personalisation, content effectiveness, campaign performance, and operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Essential
•6+ years' experience in B2B marketing, with clear ownership of integrated, multi-channel campaign strategy.
•Strategic capability with evidence of setting direction, not just delivering against a brief.
•Track record of campaigns that generated measurable pipeline, with the numbers to evidence it.
•Commercially minded and data-driven, with experience owning a pipeline target and being measured on it.
•Experience orchestrating delivery across channel specialists and shared services without direct authority over them.
•Proven testing and optimisation discipline, with examples of iterating on live campaigns and materially improving results.
•Experience marketing to enterprise and/or mid-market B2B audiences, ideally across EMEA and/or NASA.
•Account-based marketing experience, including account selection, buying committee mapping, sales alignment and personalised activation.
•Hands-on knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce and ClickUp (or similar platforms).
•Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills across global, cross-functional teams.
•AI literacy, with active day-to-day use of AI tools and a view on where they add value.
•Comfortable moving between business areas and learning new domains quickly.
Desirable
•Experience in B2B SaaS, technology or a multi-product portfolio environment.
•Experience in a global marketing organisation with multiple segments, regions and stakeholder groups.
•Experience contributing to campaign operating model design, process and governance.
•Experience developing ABM programmes for complex enterprise buying groups or strategic global accounts.
