Your missions
Within a tight-knit tax team directly exposed to operations, you work on the taxation of funds, their assets and the group's entities:
Fund and investment taxation
•Tax structuring of real estate acquisitions and disposals in Europe and internationally (due diligence, SPA review and tax clauses, choice of vehicles);
•Monitoring local taxation of assets: tax on rental income, withholding taxes, capital gains, local taxes, in coordination with foreign advisors;
•Analysis of tax treaties applicable to funds and their vehicles (elimination of double taxation, withholding tax claims).
VAT and indirect taxation
•Multi-jurisdiction real estate VAT questions (options for taxing rents, reverse charge, local regimes such as CIS in the United Kingdom);
•Monitoring regulatory developments, notably the rollout of electronic invoicing (French reform, ViDA, local mandates).
The position offers direct exposure to operations and group management: issues are handled internally, from technical analysis to decision-making, with targeted use of external advisors.
Desired profile
•Higher education in tax law (Master II in taxation, DJCE, CAPA appreciated);
•3 to 4 years of experience gained at a law firm, a Big Four firm (ideally in real estate taxation, funds or transactions) or in the tax department of an asset management or real estate player;
•Solid fundamentals in corporate taxation and real estate taxation; prior exposure to international taxation (treaties, withholding taxes) and/or VAT is a prerequisite;
•Fluent English essential (daily exchanges with foreign advisors and administrations);
•Autonomy, writing rigor, and the ability to make technical topics actionable for non-tax specialists;
•An appetite for an entrepreneurial environment where the tax specialist is a partner to the investment, legal and accounting teams, not a support function distant from the field.
What we offer
•A rare scope for this level of experience: around fifteen jurisdictions, topics ranging from acquisition structuring to litigation, without silos;
•Direct exposure to senior management and investment decisions;
•A human-scale team with close technical supervision and a genuine learning curve.
Details
•Location: CORUM L'EPARGNE
•Remote status: Hybrid
•Contract type: CDI (permanent contract)
