JetBrains

Entrepreneur in Residence for NoPressure AI startup

In short

An Entrepreneur in Residence role leading NoPressure, an early-stage AI startup inside JetBrains' Innovation Hub building agentic tools for workplace conversation practice. The role covers full venture ownership — strategy, customer discovery, rapid prototyping, positioning, and early go-to-market — working closely with a technical founder and engineering team. It demands a proven track record of taking products from ambiguity to market, hands-on AI/agentic product experience, and comfort operating with high autonomy under uncertainty.

About the Role
JetBrains creates intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. Its products help more than 15 million users and over 300,000 companies solve complex problems, with a mission to make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale. NoPressure is an early-stage startup within JetBrains' Innovation Hub. It began with AI-powered simulations for practicing high-stakes workplace conversations and is exploring how agentic AI and real-world context can provide personalized, moment-of-need practice and support at work.

•Monitor market shifts, emerging agent architectures, and competitor developments to uncover opportunities
•Collaborate with the technical founder and engineering team to move quickly from ideas to shipped prototypes

•Experience in L&D, coaching, sales enablement, HR tech, or behavior-change products
•Technical fluency to evaluate agentic workflows and work directly with software engineers
•End-to-end ownership across strategy, discovery, product development, and go-to-market strategy
•A builder mindset that favors quick prototypes and direct learning over waiting for perfect requirements
•Deep curiosity about how people build new skills and navigate challenging workplace interactions
•Comfort with high autonomy, speed, and decision-making under uncertainty
•Strong discovery skills to distinguish genuine demand and observed behavior from polite validation
•Clear, direct communication skills for pitching to and working with senior decision-makers
•Strong collaboration habits when partnering with engineering teams on AI-native products
Conditions
•Flexible work schedule; work from home or from the office
•Extra days off
•Access to conferences, courses, and language classes
•Relocation support is available
•Free meals and snacks, including lunch and refreshments
