Shape the Future of Privacy with Usercentrics
Usercentrics is a global leader in data privacy and privacy-led marketing solutions. We believe there is no need for a trade-off between growth and privacy compliance. Our vision is to unlock the potential of data privacy to empower a thriving digital ecosystem. We work with companies to create a healthy balance between data-driven business and privacy-led marketing for every size of enterprise. Our customers build trust with their users through improved transparency and control to drastically improve marketing and monetization, while achieving full privacy compliance.
We are looking for a paid acquisition leader to own our self-serve growth. You will manage a team of paid specialists and a monthly media budget of EUR 1-2M across search, social, native, and programmatic. You will be accountable for self-serve sign-ups, trials, premium conversions, and new ARR across the Americas, Europe, and the rest of the world. You will work closely with our Google team. We are a top account for them, so you will have direct access to their specialists and early access to their products and betas.
Responsibilities
•Own the self-serve acquisition targets: sign-ups, qualified trials, activated trials, new premiums, and new ARR.
•Set paid acquisition strategy and allocate budget across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, Taboola, RollWorks, and emerging channels such as ChatGPT Ads.
•Manage and develop a team of specialists. Set clear channel and regional ownership, review work, and coach. Focus on mentorship and individual member development.
•Manage the relationship with our Google team and our agency and contractor partners.
•Oversee campaign activation on behalf of our sales-led program manager. You will not own the sales pipeline target, but your team runs the channels that serve it.
•Decide where to test, scale, or stop spend by market, using CAC and CAC payback.
•Run weekly performance reviews. Investigate KPI changes and find the cause.
•Build business cases for budget and new channels, and present them to senior leadership.
•Work with Product, Growth, Web, Sales, and Finance on funnel changes, tests, and forecasting.
•Use automation and AI tools to reduce manual PPC and reporting work.
Success in this role looks like: self-serve ARR and CAC payback targets met by region; budget allocation and market expansion decisions following a documented process; weekly reporting that is automated and trusted by leadership; and a team with clear ownership and a defined team lead structure.
Requirements
•8+ years of experience in performance marketing or paid acquisition, with deep Google Ads knowledge. Senior-level scope matters more than time in any single channel.
•Experience managing a multi-channel paid budget of EUR 1M+ per month.
•At least 2 years of people management experience. You have hired, developed, and led specialists.
•Strong analytical skills. You are comfortable working with a data warehouse (SQL), BI tools, and attribution data.
•Experience with B2B or PLG SaaS funnels.
•Clear communication with senior stakeholders. You can explain budget decisions with data.
•Experience working with a platform account team (for example Google) to get more from the account.
•Experience coaching someone into a team lead or management role.
•Experience with native and programmatic platforms (Taboola, RollWorks, Outbrain, or similar).
•Experience in privacy, compliance, or other regulated categories.
•Multi-region experience, especially US and Europe.
•Experience with Salesforce, revenue attribution tools, and product analytics.
•Working knowledge of workflow automation and AI tools.
•Experience with emerging ad platforms (AI search and chat ads).
