Responsibilities
•Develop and support database structures and objects, and write queries and stored procedures using MS SQL and PostgreSQL
•Optimize existing database structures and code
•Modernize and create reports, widgets, and dashboards for Veeam ONE, VSPC, and other reporting products
•Rework business logic to meet new business requirements
•Work closely with analyst and QA teams
•Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team
Requirements
•5 years of work experience
•Experience with MS SQL and PostgreSQL; MS SQL is required
•Solid understanding of relational database design, indexing, transactions, and query execution plans
•Proven experience writing complex queries, scripts, and stored procedures
•Ability to understand other people's code
•Leadership and mentoring experience
•Responsibility, diligence, discipline, high efficiency, desire to develop, and teamwork experience
Nice to have
•C# backend development knowledge sufficient to discuss technical solutions with backend teams, agree on work division between database and application layers, and read code when needed
