Content Manager – JLL
Location: Chicago (on-site)
What this job involves:
JLL's Transformation Office (TO) is seeking a Content Manager to drive written storytelling for Accelerate 2030, JLL's enterprise-wide transformation initiative. This role sits at the center of how the organization communicates change, translating complex transformation data, initiative updates, and leadership input into clear, compelling narratives that employees and leaders actually want to read.
The Content Manager will own the drafting of all enterprise-level Accelerate 2030 content and will support initiative-level comms leads with templates and editorial guidance, working in close partnership with the TO Change Management & Comms Lead and TO Change Manager to ensure consistent, timely, and resonant communication throughout the transformation journey.
What your day-to-day will look like:
•Draft and deploy written content across the TO's activation and Accelerate 2030 storytelling, including the case for change, leader messages, the L-band newsletter, and initiative wins stories
•Create plain-English narratives from TO and initiative inputs such as the wins tracker, KEY updates, and interviews
•Keep the communications calendar current, ensure messages go out on time through the right channel, and refine the approach based on feedback and learnings
•Write and maintain templates, message guides, and FAQs that initiative-level communications leads can reuse
•Edit and tone-check initiative messaging to ensure alignment with A2030 storytelling principles and plain-English standards
•Coordinate reviews and approvals with the TO Change Management & Comms Lead, TO Change Manager, and business line comms contacts
•Track all communications sent, including audience and channel, and share learnings with the TO Change Management & Comms Lead
•Own drafts of Accelerate 2030 transformation narratives, newsletters, message guides, and other enterprise content, plus edits to initiative drafts
•Recommend message wording, timing, and channels to the TO Change Management & Comms Lead for approval
•Bring draft materials and timelines to Comms Council for review, capture feedback, and update drafts accordingly
•Participate in TO Change & Comms working sessions to take in new wins, decisions, and asks, and confirm next writing priorities
•Offer drafting help and templates to initiative comms leads, and review their drafts on request
•Work in close partnership with the TO Change Manager on all of the above
Required Qualifications:

•Experience working with data and updates from multiple teams, with the ability to parse functional and business-segment context into an enterprise-wide narrative
•Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple drafts, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
•Experience collaborating with senior leaders, including giving and receiving clear, constructive feedback on written content
•Background in internal communications, corporate communications, or journalism
•Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
•Ability to work independently while managing input and approvals from multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in change management or transformation communications
•Familiarity with enterprise communications calendars and multi-channel content deployment
•Experience tracking and reporting on communication effectiveness
•Prior experience creating reusable templates, style guides, or FAQs for distributed teams
