This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.
Shift: Monday through Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location: 1001 W. Taylor Rd., Romeoville, IL 60446
Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.00
Summary of Role and Responsibilities
•Performs routine system administration tasks including user account maintenance, access provisioning, and basic configuration updates within established procedures and approval requirements.
•Monitors system availability and basic performance indicators, escalating anomalies, alerts, and service disruptions to senior team members for resolution.
•Maintains accurate, organized system records, configuration logs, and administrative documentation that support audit readiness and operational traceability.
•Executes scheduled maintenance tasks, system checks, and administrative workflows following defined runbooks and step-by-step operational procedures.
•Supports incident and service request intake by logging tickets, gathering required information, and routing issues to the appropriate team within established service management procedures.
Education
•Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience
•Less than 2 years of experience in IT operations, technical support, infrastructure support, systems support, or technology environment, or a related field required.
Certifications (plus not required)
•Certification in ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+ or Network+, or cloud fundamentals (e.g., vendor-neutral or hyperscaler entry-level), or equivalent preferred.

Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
