Responsibilities
•Identify and elaborate business needs with product managers and the support team; analyze competitors' solutions and track new technologies, products, and features in the ERP area
•Translate business needs into technical requirements for features, including multiple integrations, in collaboration with software developers, product managers, and fellow analysts
•Evaluate information from multiple sources, analyze, test, and document functionality when needed for design work
•Structure information and write functional design specifications and technical requirements
•Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers during programming, debugging, and testing of new or enhanced functionality
•Perform acceptance testing and report bugs
•Troubleshoot customer issues and propose solutions
•Demonstrate features and enhancements to technical and non-technical audiences and manage feedback
•Cooperate with product managers to elaborate the product backlog
Requirements
•Higher technical education in computer systems, systems and networks, information systems and technologies, system analysis and management, computational mathematics, or informatics
•10+ years of experience in system analysis, software design, and development of functional specifications
•10+ years of experience in the business software development industry
•Understand software design principles, software engineering processes, and the software product lifecycle
•Demonstrate user empathy and the ability to model user behavior and identify flaws in applications
•Have systems thinking and the ability to manage complexity at different levels
•Be able to structure large amounts of information, decompose objects and processes, synthesize solutions, and perform impact analysis
•Have strong technical writing and communication skills to write specifications for developers and communicate with them
•Have professional knowledge of English
Nice to have
•Previous coding-related work as a Software Developer or Programming Analyst
•Business analysis for complex business products such as ERP
•C# .NET experience
•Microservices or cloud services integration
•Russian
