About the Team
Deliveroo's Regional UK and Ireland team drives the company's performance across all four UKI nations and signs up restaurant partners in local markets. Deliveroo is part of DoorDash, bringing together teams across DoorDash and Wolt.
Responsibilities
•Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants across the region, building city-level knowledge of emerging restaurants and customer demand
•Communicate with restaurants through visits, email, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology
•Oversee restaurant onboarding to make the process quick, efficient, and seamless
•Ensure restaurants succeed during their first eight weeks after signing
•Sample food from a variety of high-quality establishments
•Attend restaurant and food meet-ups
Requirements
•Comfortable targeting and approaching new businesses
•Experienced negotiator who can structure win-win deals for restaurants and Deliveroo
•Commercially knowledgeable and understands the economics of food delivery for restaurants and Deliveroo
•Strong communication skills, including face-to-face, phone, and email
•Able to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients
•Takes ownership and works within demanding targets
•Interested in food and restaurants
•Tenacious and motivated to deliver results
•Right to work in the UK
•A valid driving licence and a car are required; comfortable travelling to different areas, including Windsor, Slough, Staines, Uxbridge, High Wycombe, and Watford
Nice to Have
•Fluency in another language, such as Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or another language
