About the Role
Yandex Qazaqstan develops an insurance platform with a scalable microservice backend integrated with multiple Yandex services. Yandex Care sells more than 10,000 policies per day and continues expanding integrations and product functionality. Yango Group is a global technology ecosystem building digital services across ride-hailing, delivery, e-commerce, mapping, entertainment, and AI.
Responsibilities
•Launch integrations with partner websites, applications, and internal platforms, working with APIs, data models, and product flows
•Participate in large-scale integration projects by designing architecture, developing or extending platform components, and ensuring reliable launches
•Design and develop reusable platform components, including pricing, scoring, billing, and modules for managing insurance products and contracts
•Implement new platform components and integrate them into the insurance platform lifecycle
•Solve infrastructure challenges for high-load systems, including scaling, optimizing data storage, and improving system performance
•Develop solutions for large datasets, including efficient search, data separation, and automated testing approaches
•Hire, mentor, and develop engineers while helping build a strong engineering team
Requirements
•Strong C++ skills and an understanding that a programming language is a tool
•Solid coding skills
•Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
•Interest in solving complex engineering problems and growing professionally
Nice to Have
•Experience designing distributed systems operating under high load
•Python experience
•Experience with PostgreSQL and other databases
•Familiarity with Linux
•Experience with userver or Testsuite
•Readiness to expand the scope of responsibility
