Yango is a global technology ecosystem building digital services across more than 30 countries. Its services include ride-hailing, delivery, e-commerce, mapping, entertainment, and AI. The team is developing a high-load insurance platform integrated with several Yandex services, selling more than 10,000 policies per day.
Responsibilities
•Launch integrations with partner websites, applications, and internal platforms; implement APIs, data models, and product interaction flows using platform components
•Support the full lifecycle of insurance products, from presenting offers under high RPS load to processing claim payouts
•Develop product features by expanding integrations, improving user experience, and adding functionality
•Build reusable platform components for pricing, scoring, billing, and insurance product and contract management
•Design and implement platform components, define their architecture, and integrate them into the platform lifecycle
•Solve high-load infrastructure challenges, including hot-cold storage, large-dataset search, integration testing automation, caching, and sharding
•Hire and train team members, lead and develop the team, and build an engineering foundation for business growth
Requirements
•Strong programming skills and experience writing production code
•Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
•Experience with C++ and backend development
•Interest in complex engineering challenges and scalable systems
•Motivation to grow and take ownership of technical solutions
