Responsibilities
•Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with business and product objectives
•Lead, develop, and grow multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and specialized technical profiles
•Establish a clear technology vision, ensuring the platform's scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability
•Promote software development, architecture, testing, observability, DevOps, and continuous delivery best practices
•Ensure delivery quality and predictability by improving project planning, prioritization, and tracking processes
•Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Operations, and the leadership team to turn business needs into effective technology solutions
•Participate in strategic decisions on architecture, technology, investment, hiring, and team organization
•Promote a culture of ownership, innovation, transparency, and technical excellence
•Identify technical and operational risks and define medium- and long-term mitigation and improvement plans
•Represent the engineering function to internal stakeholders, partners, and other relevant counterparts
Requirements
•Solid experience leading engineering organizations as a VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, or in a similar role
•Demonstrated track record developing and scaling digital products, SaaS platforms, or complex technology environments
•Experience managing distributed teams and growing organizations
•Deep knowledge of software architecture, product development, cloud computing, DevOps, and modern engineering practices
•Ability to connect technology strategy with business objectives and customer needs
•Experience hiring, developing, and retaining technical talent
•Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
•Ability to make complex decisions, prioritize effectively, and work autonomously
•Results-oriented, strategic thinker with a practical approach to problem-solving
•Fluent professional English
