Over the role
As a technical consultant at xxllnc you stand right in the middle of the playing field between the customer, the work processes and our software. You look at issues from a broad perspective: what does the organization and the end user need, and how do we translate this into a smart solution?
Where traditional consultants stop at advice, you go further. You advise the customer, guide the change process and then get to work yourself technically to realize the solution. Together with the team you take on the full setup of our applications: from process analysis and functional alignment to building integrations, writing scripts and performing data migrations.
We work efficiently and flexibly. We handle a lot of alignment and testing phases via short online meetings, so you can focus on realization from home or the office. At crucial moments you sit at the table with the customer to make the difference as a strategic sparring partner.
What you will do, among other things
•You analyze the business processes of governments, translate customer questions into optimal software setup, and advise on process improvements.
•You provide workshops, trainings and presentations to help customers make optimal use of the software and guide them through changes.
•You dive into the customer's field of work and act as a full sparring partner.
•You realize integrations/connections between systems and write smart scripts to automate processes.
•You ensure, with complex SQL queries, that data and documents transfer safely and flawlessly to the new environment.
•You identify opportunities to deepen collaboration with customers and contribute to continuously improving our own internal processes.
About you
You are the professional who effortlessly bridges the gap between the language of the end user and the language of technology.
•Experience as a consultant, application specialist or implementation specialist (preferably within a government or software environment).
•Strong analytical and advisory skills. You can think along at process level, facilitate workshops and guide a customer through change.
•Experience with technically setting up/configuring software, writing scripts, connections/integrations, and drawing up SQL queries for data migrations.
•Communicatively convincing, customer-oriented and with a commercial outlook. You like to take initiative and think in possibilities.
To get to know our software, the complex subject matter and your team quickly and well, you will be present two days a week at our Groningen location during the initial phase. This intensifies your onboarding process and ensures a flying start. After this period you get all the room to work flexibly and hybrid (home/office/customer).
In addition, you have:
•HBO-level work and thinking ability, with a strong affinity for IT and business processes;
•1 to 2 years of work experience as a consultant at the intersection of business and IT (a plus);
•Solid technical baggage: you can work hands-on with SQL, scripting and migrations, or you are willing to develop yourself in this;
•A solution-oriented mindset: you see the functional picture, but do not shy away from the hard technology;
•Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week.
Fluency in Dutch, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for this position.
