About Pleo
At Pleo, we're changing messy spend management. We build spend solutions that make managing money seamless, empowering, and surprisingly effective for finance teams and employees alike, with a vision to help all businesses 'go beyond'. We're at a pivotal moment in our journey; every move we make has a direct impact on our 40,000+ customers, our business, and our collective success. We're a driven, progressive, and kind bunch of 850+ people from over 100 nationalities.
We're looking for a Technical Program Manager, Revenue Operations to join our Revenue Operations team at Pleo. In this role, you'll help build the technical and operational infrastructure that enables Pleo's revenue organisation to scale and be part of cross-functional programs as we scale Pleo's customer and revenue lifecycle.
Responsibilities
You'll report to our Director of Revenue Operations and work closely with teams in Sales, Customer Success, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Customer Onboarding, as well as partner with teams across Product, Engineering, Data and Analytics, Business Systems, and Finance.
•Lead complex technical programs across the revenue technology ecosystem – from discovery and requirements definition through architecture design, implementation, UAT, launch, and post-launch adoption.
•Translate requirements bidirectionally – turn complex commercial challenges into precise technical specs for Engineering and Data teams, while breaking down technical trade-offs, system dependencies, and risks for business stakeholders.
•Drive revenue systems and CRM initiatives – optimize architecture and end-to-end data flows across lead-to-opportunity, sales-to-onboarding handoffs, renewal, churn risk, and billing operations.
•Identify and eliminate technical and operational debt – architect future-state solutions rather than quick fixes, automating manual workflows and improving data integrity across critical revenue systems.
•Champion modern automation and AI-enabled RevOps capabilities – integrate intelligent workflows, predictive customer health signals, and agent-based workflows to accelerate commercial productivity.
•Map Pleo's revenue systems landscape, data flows, and sources of truth, taking ownership of active high-priority technical initiatives.
•Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and commercial leaders to streamline requirements gathering, UAT, and release governance.
•Grow your skills in scaling cutting-edge RevOps infrastructure, introducing automation and AI-enabled workflows as Pleo expands across markets.

•Hiring Manager Interview: A 45-minute interview with the hiring manager to go deeper on your experience and how your profile fits the role.
•Pleo Challenge: A take-home test followed by a 60-minute team interview. This is your opportunity to show us how you'd handle the day-to-day of the role (e.g., designing a programme, measuring impact, stakeholder communication).
•Final Interview: A final interview with a Senior Leader.
Requirements
•5+ years of Technical Program Management experience – a proven track record of managing complex technical programs involving multi-system integrations, data models, APIs, and technical dependencies.
•A strong understanding of the SDLC and revenue mechanics – deep comfort with software development workflows (Agile/hybrid) paired with a solid grasp of the B2B revenue lifecycle (lead routing, pipeline, onboarding, retention, expansion).
•System architecture fluency – the ability to challenge technical designs, evaluate failure scenarios, define sources of truth, and ensure long-term scalability.
•Exceptional stakeholder management and influence – strong executive communication skills, high cross-functional influence without direct authority, and the ability to lead governance, risk tracking, and UAT.
•Experience with HubSpot or another enterprise CRM, modern data warehouses (SQL querying), CPQ/billing tools, or integration middleware.
•A background in SaaS, fintech, payments, spend management, or a high-growth digital environment.
Why this role is a good fit for you
•You love being the technical bridge between revenue leaders and software/data engineers, translating strategy into scalable technical execution.
•You think in systems, data flows, and dependencies, and prefer fixing root causes rather than patching symptoms.
•You want true ownership of strategic programs and enjoy driving them through technical delivery to measurable business adoption.
Why this role is not a good fit for you
•Your TPM experience is primarily administrative (focused only on timelines, meeting notes, and status reports without understanding the underlying technical architecture).
•You are uncomfortable discussing APIs, data schemas, integrations, and failure modes directly with engineers.
•You need fully defined requirements handed to you rather than proactively untangling ambiguity and challenging assumptions.
