What you will do
•Gather, analyze, and formalize business, functional, and non-functional requirements for payment processes.
•Develop integration specifications for Compass Payment interactions with internal and external systems.
•Maintain REST API specifications and define JSON request and response structures.
•Model payment statuses, state transitions, successful and failed processing scenarios, idempotency, and transaction reprocessing.
•Use UML, BPMN, and SQL to model processes, analyze data, and validate system behavior.
•Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA engineers, investigate integration incidents, and participate in acceptance testing.
Requirements
•3+ years of hands-on experience as a System Analyst.
•Hands-on experience with payment systems and a strong understanding of payment transaction lifecycles, statuses, and state transitions.
•Experience documenting business and system requirements and preparing integration specifications.
•Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
•Knowledge of UML and BPMN, plus an understanding of idempotency and synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
•Direct hands-on experience with Compass Payment and English at Intermediate level or above.
