The company is a major defense and security firm with 28,000 employees. About the role
This is an open/spontaneous application for exciting opportunities as a Systems Engineer at Saab, in our technology-intensive environment in Solna.
Your role
In close collaboration with engaged colleagues, you will face varied and challenging tasks where you are involved throughout the entire product cycle — from requirements management and system design to testing and implementation. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or an experienced specialist, the most important thing is that you share our passion for development and new technology. At our office in Solna, we offer a wide variety of exciting opportunities within the systems area, in a culture characterized by long-term thinking, trust, and a genuine desire to have fun together.
Your profile
You thrive in technically complex environments and like to work broadly — you can go deep into a problem without losing sight of the overall picture. You are naturally curious, communicate clearly, and see collaboration as a given rather than a requirement.
We are looking for people for roles such as systems engineers, system safety specialists, IT security experts, and test and requirements engineers. If you have knowledge in any of these areas, we would like to get to know you.
What you need to have:
•Relevant university or engineering degree
•Experience or knowledge in one of the areas: testing, requirements management, system safety or aerospace
•Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
•Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written
Meritorious:
•Experience from the defense industry or safety-critical systems
•Knowledge of relevant standards within system safety or IT security
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security regulations in force at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
What does a spontaneous application mean?
This is an open application for those curious about our operations in Solna. If you want to become part of our future journey, you are warmly welcome to submit a spontaneous application. By doing so, you show that you are open to job opportunities with us — and if we later receive a role that matches your background and interests, we may contact you. However, we want to clarify that a spontaneous application is not the same as applying for a position. To maximize your chances, we encourage you to show us what attracts you the most by actively applying for the specific positions you are interested in! You can always withdraw your spontaneous application by logging into your Workday profile.
