About the role
At SEREM, we are looking to bring on specialized talent in the management and coordination of software development projects to participate in an established, large-scale international technology project. The role is aimed at professionals with extensive experience in Software Project Management, Technical Project Management or Delivery Management, capable of coordinating several Agile teams, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring the successful execution of complex technology projects.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate the planning and execution of software development projects involving multiple Agile teams.
•Oversee milestones, deliverables, commitments and release plans (release planning).
•Identify, manage and track risks, incidents, blockers and dependencies between teams.
•Facilitate coordination between development, architecture, product, operations and business teams.
•Organize and facilitate planning, tracking, review and coordination meetings.
•Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, dashboards and tracking indicators.
•Ensure smooth communication with the various stakeholders, providing visibility into project progress and potential risks.
•Collaborate on capacity planning, activity prioritization and roadmap execution.
•Drive the tracking of actions and commitments through to resolution.
•Take part in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, also performing Scrum Master duties for one of the teams.
•Promote continuous improvement initiatives in development and coordination processes.
•Ensure compliance with established tracking and governance procedures.
Requirements
•More than 10 years of experience in software development environments, with a background in technology project management, team coordination or delivery management.
•At least 5 years of experience working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
•Demonstrable experience coordinating several Agile development teams simultaneously.
•Experience managing complex software projects involving multiple stakeholders, technologies and dependencies.
•Strong knowledge of planning, risk management, deliverable tracking and coordination between teams.
•Ability to understand technical discussions related to modern architectures and cloud environments.
•Experience communicating and coordinating with technical teams, product managers and business areas.
•Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem-solving and communication skills.
•Minimum English level B2, with the ability to communicate in international environments.
•Availability for occasional trips to Barcelona, approximately once per semester, for in-person coordination meetings with the teams.
•Practical development experience is not required, but sufficient knowledge is needed to understand technical aspects and facilitate the coordination of projects involving: AWS Cloud and cloud-native architectures; Kubernetes, containers and distributed platforms; microservices architectures and reactive systems; development environments with Golang, Java / Spring Boot and Python; Edge Computing solutions and Device-to-Cloud connectivity; security technologies such as X.509 certificates and OpenID Connect; continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) and software development best practices.
