Responsibilities
•Collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and analysts in a cross-functional environment
•Design, launch, and iterate on A/B experiments to help the mission team learn about customers
•Continuously improve the codebase, systems, and processes
•Design and develop efficient, scalable solutions
•Mentor team members and participate in hiring
•Work across the full stack using a variety of technologies and frameworks
Requirements
•6+ years of software development experience with distributed systems or search engines
•High proficiency in Java
•Experience designing and deploying large-scale distributed systems
•Experience building reliable and observable systems
•Mature judgment in using AI tools and proactively leading the team in adopting and evaluating new AI technologies while maintaining quality, security, and governance standards
•Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable, and maintainable code
•Ability to prioritize and manage stakeholders
•Good communication and collaboration skills
•A positive, proactive approach and passion for the craft
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have
•A/B testing, hypothesis building, event-based analytics
•Node.js, Vue.js or similar component-based frontend frameworks
•E-commerce experience
