About the role
Do you want to help shape the future of supplier quality within one of Sweden's most complex and socially important operations?
We are now looking for a Senior business developer with deep expertise in supplier quality. Here you get the chance to be part of a team that delivers Aeronautics' central quality capability. We work together to achieve the department's and the company's goals!
Your role
We are looking for a senior business developer in Supplier Quality who will take on a key role in developing, coordinating and driving strategic initiatives within supplier quality, in close collaboration between the Quality and Purchasing organizations.
The focus of this role is supplier quality with an emphasis on joint development that cuts across the entire Aeronautics business area, with a focus on developing ways of working rather than direct work with suppliers. Aeronautics is responsible for the development, industrialization, manufacturing and support of various flying systems and sub-systems. The Aeronautics business area has a total of approximately 8,000 employees (including consultants).
In this role you operate at a strategic level where you drive the development of working methods, governance and processes that strengthen quality throughout the entire supplier chain. You act as a connecting force between different functions and help create a common direction in areas such as supplier requirements, follow-up and analysis, supplier development, audits and other improvement work, competence development and digitalization.
You drive/coordinate cross-functional development initiatives where, together with the business units and their representatives, you identify improvement opportunities, create shared understanding and translate strategic ambitions into concrete results. Through your work you contribute to building long-term capability in supplier quality and supply chain excellence.
Responsibilities and tasks
•Develop the collaboration between Quality and Purchasing to ensure that requirements within, among others, EN9100, EN9110 and other quality-related standards are translated into effective working methods, governance and support for supplier quality operations.
•Identify and establish cross-functional development initiatives, and lead workshops, development forums and change initiatives.
•Act as an advisor and support to managers, process owners and business representatives.
•Investigate and propose use of the International Aerospace Quality Group's framework and working methods.
•Represent Aeronautics in Saab's central development initiatives within supplier quality, for example systems for non-conformance management, PPAP, Supplier handbook, etc.
•Inspire, propose and lead increased digitalization within supplier quality.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who combines strategic height with operational execution power. You have experience leading complex development and change initiatives and thrive in contexts where you get to build networks, create shared understanding and drive development across organizational boundaries.
You have a strong interest in quality development, supply chains and business development. At the same time, you have the ability to translate requirements, needs and strategies into concrete working methods that create value for the business.
Requirements:
•Documented leadership experience.
•Experience in business development, change management or strategic development initiatives.
•Experience in quality management, management systems or process development.
•Experience working with suppliers, supplier development or supply chain-related issues.
•Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without formal personnel responsibility.
•Very good ability to communicate, facilitate and create engagement.
•Experience collaborating with managers, process owners and other key stakeholders.
Advantageous:
•Knowledge of EN9100, EN9110, AQAP or similar requirement frameworks.
•Experience with audit activities and improvement work.
•Experience in supplier quality or Supplier Quality Management.
•Experience with AI, digitalization or data analysis initiatives.
•Experience from manufacturing industry, aviation, defense or technology operations.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security protection regulations in force at the time. For positions where Saab requires security clearance placement, this may, where applicable, entail a requirement for a certain citizenship.
What you become part of
You become part of an area that works to develop Saab's future quality capability. Together with colleagues in Quality, Purchasing and the business, you get the opportunity to influence how we develop our suppliers, our processes and our ability to deliver products and services with high quality throughout the entire value chain.

The quality staff is part of Aeronautics' Operational Excellence function, which is responsible for improvement and efficiency work and maintenance of various necessary permits (i.e. licence to operate).
The Quality department currently consists of 8 people, where the work is characterized by open and transparent collaboration with Aeronautics' four business units (Advanced Programs, Aerospace Systems, Aviation Services and Gripen).
