Senior Python Engineer with Generative AI and Agents experience

Are you passionate about software engineering and want to take generative AI beyond prototypes? At Tecdata Engineering we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer / AI Engineer with solid experience in Python, backend development, and LLM-based systems and intelligent agents.
You will join a technology project focused on modernizing legacy applications, helping build solutions capable of analyzing large code repositories and generating reliable, accurate and traceable AS-IS technical documentation.
What will be your mission?
Develop and evolve generative AI components in production, combining traditional software engineering, cloud architecture and multi-agent systems. You will participate in the design of robust, scalable and observable solutions capable of transforming complex legacy application analysis processes.
What are we looking for?
Software and backend engineering
•Solid experience developing with Python.
•Development of backend services and processing pipelines.
•Experience with APIs and distributed systems.
•Automated testing and good development practices with Git.
•Ability to optimize performance, concurrency and processing of large volumes of information.
Cloud and AWS architecture
•Practical experience with AWS.
•Knowledge of ECS, Step Functions, S3 and CloudWatch.
•Experience working with distributed architectures and cloud services.
Generative AI and agents
•Experience developing solutions with LLMs and agent-based systems.
•Design and maintenance of complex prompts.
•Management of context windows and problem-fragmentation strategies.
•Design of specialized agents and invokable tools.
•Knowledge of multi-agent orchestration patterns.
•Evaluation of generative results and strategies to reduce hallucinations.
•Familiarity with RAG, context structuring and Golden Sets.
What do we value especially?
•Experience in legacy banking or enterprise environments.
•Knowledge of Java, JSP and J2EE architectures.
•Experience with SGM, CBTF, ASO services or HOST transactions.
•Processing and analysis of large code repositories.
•Knowledge of OpenTelemetry and observability.
•Experience with event-driven architectures, queues and concurrent processing.
•Design of JSON structures and persistent models for information exchange between agents.
