Mission of the Role
Design, develop and implement automation solutions to reduce manual, repetitive and low-value tasks associated with the operation, maintenance and support of applications at BBVA Commercials. The goal is to improve efficiency, reduce errors, increase reliability and free up engineering teams' capacity for higher-value activities.
Main Responsibilities
•Identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on effort, frequency, impact and criticality, maintaining a backlog of initiatives.
•Develop scripts, tools, services and workflows that automate operational tasks, validations, controls, reports and information processing.
•Integrate applications and platforms through APIs and orchestration mechanisms, automating data extraction, transformation and validation processes.
•Automate monitoring, log analysis, alerts, incident diagnosis, reconciliations and recurring maintenance and support tasks.
•Ensure solutions are secure, traceable, reusable, scalable, documented and aligned with BBVA standards.
•Measure the impact and benefits obtained through automation.
•Explore the use of generative AI and AI agents for development, documentation, diagnosis and incident handling when they add value compared to traditional solutions.
