Analista Programador/a RPG - AS400

We are looking for an Analista Programador/a RPG - AS400 (Economic-Financial Area) to join our team on a maintenance and development project for critical financial applications at the offices of a major corporate client in Barcelona.
The selected professional will report directly to the Technical Manager of the area, actively participating in the preparation of technical designs, software development in RPG/DB2, and execution of unit tests on IBM iSeries (AS400) environments. They will also play an active role in the evolution of the business's financial applications and in supporting key users.
🔑 Responsibilities:
•Prepare technical designs, program, and execute unit tests of software in AS400 environment based on defined functional requirements.
•Ensure maximum stability, performance, and quality of deliverables in developments, given the high criticality of the financial area applications.
•Collaborate in corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the economic-financial area systems, providing continuous support to users.
•Maintain constant and fluid communication with the Technical Manager, business areas, and other IT department teams.
📌 Requirements:
•Solid experience in design and programming in RPG and DB2 on IBM iSeries (AS400) environment.
•Command of basic concepts and/or prior experience in Accounting and Finance applications.
•Technical rigor oriented toward software quality, teamwork ability, and excellent communication skills.

•Knowledge of the JD Edwards ERP.
•Experience integrating accounting processes with other corporate systems.
