Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Experience
The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team is a trusted adviser to the business. We guide decision-making through business partner support and innovative, informative analyses. We're looking for forward-thinking, results-oriented people who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This role sits on the Infrastructure Finance team and owns financial management of company-wide AI token consumption. That covers internal usage by employees, engineering, and agents, and external usage by customers and products. You'll partner with Technology, Security, FinOps, Procurement, Product Finance, and F&S leadership to keep token spend governed, accurately forecast, and well understood in terms of cost to serve and margin impact. You'll also drive the operational processes that make this work across departments.
We're looking for a collaborative, strategic finance professional with deep analytical skills, strong communication, and sound judgment.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
•Own the end-to-end F&S view of token spend, internal and external, including budget vs. actuals, run-rate, unit costs, and variance commentary, so leaders have a clear picture of where spend is going and why
•Develop and maintain financial models for token demand forecasting, vendor commitments, and contract scenarios, including the margin impact of customer-facing usage
•Partner closely with Product Finance to produce margin and cost-to-serve metrics that inform pricing and packaging decisions
•Lead token budget allocation and reallocation across organizations: frame trade-offs, run scenarios, and drive alignment with Sr. Leadership
•Drive operational process across departments, including forecasting cadences, budget intake, variance reviews, and escalation paths, with clear owners and timelines across F&S, Engineering, Security, Procurement, FinOps, and Product
•Establish governance and chargeback and/or showback processes that hold departments and leaders accountable, working closely with SOX and Accounting
•Partner with Engineering, Security, Procurement, and FinOps on vendor commitments, consumption tracking, usage optimization, and spend dashboards
•Contribute to annual planning, long range planning, and budgeting, keeping token assumptions aligned with headcount, infrastructure, and product roadmaps
•Prepare and present executive-ready materials for council and leadership reviews that turn complex data into clear recommendations
You're Our Person If...
•You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. An MBA is preferred. Experience is evaluated against the role's Core Competencies.
•You have 8+ years of relevant experience in finance, consulting, or analytics.
•You have a proven record of driving operational process across departments: standing up forecasting cadences, controls, and governance, and getting multiple teams to follow them without direct authority.
•You have extensive financial modeling experience, including scenario planning, ROI analysis, unit economics, and margin analysis.
•You've managed multiple priority initiatives at once and driven operational rigor, such as forecasting cadences and controls.
•FinOps experience is a plus, including cloud cost management, usage optimization, and showback or chargeback.
•You're comfortable with financial systems and data tools (e.g., Tableau, Hyperion, SQL, or similar).
•You can influence senior stakeholders without direct authority and tell a compelling story from complex data.
Even Better If...
•You have a working understanding of AI and LLM consumption models, such as token-based pricing, committed-spend contracts, and usage-based billing.
•Technology infrastructure, cloud, or COGS experience.
