•Define Component Requirement Specifications derived from System Requirement Specifications.
•Design electronic hardware, firmware or embedded software and FPGA solutions based on approved requirements.
•Create and maintain Component Design Notes, Interface Control Documents, PCBA and cable-assembly outputs, and other design records.
•Coordinate prototyping and sourcing activities and execute component or unit verification tests.
•Support system verification, including EMC and safety testing, and contribute to verification reports.
•Prepare production-test specifications and, where needed, develop test fixtures or tooling software.
•Support manufacturing transfer, production-equivalent-system builds, defect resolution, releases and sustaining engineering.
Your Experience
•Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering or a related technical discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
•Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in electronic circuit design, embedded systems development or medical-device electronics.
•Experience translating system requirements into component-level requirements, designs and verification evidence.
•Practical knowledge of prototyping, PCBA development, embedded-software release and technical documentation.
•Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and global engineering teams.
It Would Be Desirable If You Had
•Experience with surgical microscopy, ophthalmology diagnostics, research microscopy, cameras or video-chain products.
•Knowledge of IEC 62304, cybersecurity, EMC and electrical-safety expectations.
•Experience with FPGA development, production test equipment or regulated design transfer.
Your Benefits
•Work in a collaborative, international environment with experts across engineering disciplines.
•Take on varied technical responsibilities and contribute across the product lifecycle.
