About the Role
Would you be interested in leading the development of an innovative platform in the medical sector from scratch? Oxigent Technologies is looking for a Frontend Developer (Mid-Senior) to join a team of 5 technical people in Barcelona. If selected, your main mission will be to develop new features from scratch for a medical application, actively participate in technical decision-making, ensure code quality, and work directly with the project's different teams.
Responsibilities
•Develop products and new features from scratch for a desktop/web application in the medical field.
•Carry out occasional maintenance and evolutionary improvements to the team's code.
•Work with a high degree of autonomy, coordinating smoothly and directly with the UX/UI teams, Product Managers, and the end client.
•Actively join a technical team of 5 people (a role focused on hands-on development, with no mentoring or people management tasks).
Requirements
•Degree in Computer Engineering, an Advanced Vocational Training qualification in Web Application Development, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
•At least 5 years of actual experience in Front-End development (Mid-Senior profile).
•React 18+ (Essential): Advanced command of Hooks, functional components, Context, and custom hooks.
•Most of the following technical stack:
•TypeScript: strict typing (interfaces, generics, avoiding the use of any).
•Electron: desktop app development and packaging.
•Redux Toolkit: global state management (slices, thunks, selectors).
•REST API consumption: using Axios (domain services, interceptors).
•MUI v5 (Material UI): theming, sx prop, and components styled with styled.
•React Router v6: routes and lazy loading.
•SignalR: consuming real-time events and synchronizing with Redux.
•Testing: Jest + React Testing Library and HTTP mocking with MSW.
•i18n & Git: multilingual translations and Git workflow.
•Languages: fluent or native Spanish/Catalan (daily communication) and technical English (documentation).
•Soft skills: high autonomy, proactivity, organization, and ease of communication across departments.

•Previous experience in the Medical / HealthTech sector.
Conditions
•Permanent employment through Oxigent on a technologically attractive project with purpose.
•Competitive salary range: between €40,000 and €42,000 gross per year.
•Balanced hybrid model: 2 days in the office (Poblenou / La Maquinista) and 3 days working remotely.
