Description
The team develops high-performance applications for digital treatment planning, 3D visualization, and patient data processing, used by clinicians worldwide. The product operates in a regulated medical device environment where quality, traceability, and engineering discipline are essential.
Responsibilities
•Lead a cross-functional development team of developers, QA, and DevOps, and own technical delivery end to end
•Write, review, and refactor production C++ code; set coding standards and engineering best practices
•Drive architecture and design decisions, including performance, scalability, and maintainability
•Translate business and clinical requirements into technical solutions with the client's product and engineering stakeholders
•Plan and track work, including estimation, sprint planning, risk management, and status reporting
•Ensure compliance with medical device software development processes and quality requirements
•Mentor engineers, conduct technical interviews, and contribute to team growth
•Act as the main technical point of contact for the client's engineering leadership
Requirements
•8+ years of professional software development experience with strong modern C++ (C++17/20)
•2+ years leading development teams while remaining hands-on
•Solid experience with software architecture, design patterns, and multithreading
•Experience with performance optimization and profiling
•Experience with Agile delivery, planning, and estimation
•Strong communication skills and experience working directly with international clients
•English at C1 level or higher
Nice to have
•WebAssembly experience or a strong C++ background with readiness to ramp up on WASM quickly
•3D graphics and geometry processing (OpenGL, Vulkan, VTK, CGAL, or similar)
•Medical device or other regulated software development experience (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA)
•Qt for desktop UI development
•CI/CD, CMake, unit testing frameworks (GoogleTest or similar)
•Experience in the dental, orthodontic, or healthcare imaging domain
