Responsibilities
•Prepare and execute manual and automated tests for Jira tickets and new features
•Perform regression testing to safeguard existing functionality
•Review failed automation tests and determine whether the root cause lies in the application, test data, environment, or automation
•Create and maintain test cases and test steps aligned with requirements and acceptance criteria
•Report and document bugs with clear, reproducible steps
•Monitor ServiceNow tickets and open defects daily, investigate reported issues, and collaborate with developers and other teams to resolve defects
•Support releases by validating deployments and monitoring pipeline results
•Participate in defect triage and sprint ceremonies as part of the wider Agile team
Requirements
•Hands-on experience in manual testing: functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end
•Ability to design test scenarios, test cases, and regression suites based on requirements, acceptance criteria, and system documentation
•Practical experience with Jira and Xray for test management and defect tracking
•Experience with API testing using Postman or Bruno, including request/response and payload validation, HTTP status codes, and integration testing
•Confidence writing SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting
•Experience with test automation using Playwright and TypeScript
•Experience working across DEV, QA, and Production environments, including production support and analysis
•Ability to read Elastic and Azure/Application logs to investigate issues
•Experience with ServiceNow or similar tools for support and incident management, and familiarity with root-cause analysis
•Familiarity with Git/GitLab and a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline monitoring and release validation
•Familiarity with Agile/Scrum sprint-based work, strong analytical thinking, and attention to detail
•Clear communication with developers and cross-functional teams, and confidence driving defects through to resolution
