Description
You will join a project as a QA Engineer, in a role with a strong focus on backend testing: around 60% manual testing and 40% automated testing.
Responsibilities
•Analyze functional and technical requirements, identifying test scenarios, risks, and acceptance criteria.
•Design and execute functional, integration, and API tests (REST, JSON/XML), using Postman.
•Investigate defects through SQL queries, log analysis, and integrations between systems, supporting root cause identification.
•Manage the defect lifecycle and test documentation in JIRA/Xray, including retesting and validation in certification and production environments.
•Execute and maintain existing automated tests, in collaboration with the development and automation teams.
Requirements
•At least 2 years of experience in QA, with a focus on manual and automated backend testing.
•Experience with Postman and Xray.
•Good knowledge of SQL.
•Fluent English (written and spoken).
•Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
•A proactive and autonomous person, willing to propose improvements and communicate with technical and business teams.
