Description
We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to develop secure, cloud-native applications and microservices, contributing to a major modernisation of an identity and access management (IAM) platform.
Responsibilities
•Design, develop and maintain backend microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
•Build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and EventBridge.
•Develop automated integration and end-to-end tests.
•Contribute to IAM services, identity platform migration and secure third-party integrations.
•Maintain production applications and support continuous delivery.
•Collaborate with engineers, architects and SRE specialists on technical design and code quality.
Requirements
•5+ years' experience in backend or full-stack software development.
•Strong, recent hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
•Practical experience with AWS cloud services and distributed, asynchronous systems.
•Test automation skills using tools such as Jest, Postman or Playwright.
•Understanding of CI/CD and production deployment practices.
•Fluency in both Polish and English.
Nice to have
•IAM or CIAM solutions, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT.
•Infrastructure as Code, particularly AWS CDK or Terraform.
•Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus or Loki.
•Additional backend experience with Java or Python.
