About the role
We are looking for a junior project manager with a passion for image makers, who turns ideas into results and wants to help us build a Pictoright ready for the digital age. The rise of AI and digitalization is fundamentally changing how images are created, distributed and used. The rights and income of creators are under pressure, and questions about ownership, compensation and protection are becoming more urgent by the day. At Pictoright, you are at the heart of this fight.
Responsibilities
•You lead projects within established frameworks and move smoothly between strategy and execution.
•You focus on concrete completion while continuously keeping an eye on the goal, schedule and budget.
•You oversee the big picture and enjoy working on details just as much.
•Strategy, planning, minutes and action lists are all part of the job.
•You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
•You collaborate naturally and bring others along without formal authority.
•You liaise with image makers, users, professional organizations and colleagues.
Requirements
•Completed university or higher professional education degree.
•1 to 3 years of work experience, preferably on projects in the cultural or creative sector.
•Demonstrable experience with project-based work.
•You have an affinity with the creative sector and understand what is at stake for image makers.
•You follow developments in AI and digitalization with interest and see opportunities to apply them in projects.
•You are not afraid of figures and data, and use them to better understand issues.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
Nice to have
•A completed PRINCE2 or comparable project management course is a plus.
Conditions
•A substantively interesting role with direct social impact.
•Plenty of room for personal responsibility and a clear growth path to senior project manager.
•The opportunity to work in an organization at the heart of the creative sector's transition driven by technology and AI, and actively taking a position on it.
•32–40 hours per week.
•A salary of €3,000 to €3,400 based on a full-time, 40-hour working week, depending on your work experience.
•Good secondary employment conditions.
•Hybrid working is possible.
