Responsibilities
•Define project scope, goals, deliverables, detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
•Lead and manage the project team, ensuring clarity of objectives and delivering results
•Coordinate and manage third-party vendors
•Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure project success
•Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and issues
•Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating when necessary
•Ensure proper project documentation and handover to operational teams if applicable
Requirements
•Proven experience of Project Management for large-scale projects and programmes
•Proven track record of managing projects replacing business applications, internally for organisations, where continuity of service is critical
•Ability to analyze complex project data and make informed decisions
•Ability to motivate and lead a diverse project team towards achieving common goals
•Comfortable with change and capable of adapting to new project demands and environments
•Understanding of the PMO team and use of PPM tools
•Knowledge and understanding of PRINCE2
•Communications and stakeholder management
•Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
Nice to have
•End to end software development lifecycle experience with at least 1 project involving the rollout or significant enhancement / migration of a business application
•PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred
•Experience in Implementation of any PPM tool
