Product manager in payments and finance

In short

This is a senior remote product manager role owning the Payments & Finance domain for a Stays business: credit lines, financial exposure, risk management, ledgers, and complex payment flows. The company is fast-moving with little red tape, expecting the candidate to drive outcomes and product decisions independently with engineering, finance, and risk teams. It demands several years owning a product/business area end-to-end, deep understanding of financial systems and payment flows, and comfort with ambiguity and high-pressure accountability. Compensation includes meaningful equity; salary is not specified.

Description
This is a product role where a good idea in the morning can be in the product by the evening. You'll own Payments & Finance: the systems behind how we manage credit lines, financial exposure, risk, and complex payment requirements across our Stays business.
Responsibilities
You'll run it as a full business and product domain. You're accountable for the outcomes, economics, priorities, and product decisions. You'll help define what success looks like, then decide with your team what to prioritise, what to test, what to build, and where to make trade-offs.
•How do we manage credit lines and financial exposure as transaction volumes grow, reducing risk without limiting business growth?
•How do we support complex client-specific payment requirements, including virtual cards, charging rules, and payment timing, without creating operational complexity?
•How do we make ledgers, financial workflows, and payment operations more scalable, reliable, and automated as the business grows?
You'll help build Nuitee's product organisation.
Requirements
•Have owned a product or business area end to end for several years and can show the outcomes you drove.
•Understand financial systems and payment flows, especially credit, ledgers, risk management, or financial exposure.
•Can work closely with Finance and Risk teams, understand complex financial processes, and turn them into product decisions.
•Are comfortable working closely with engineering on technically complex products.
•Have worked in a high-pressure environment where you were expected to drive the outcome yourself.
•Can balance commercial opportunities, customer requirements, and financial risk, and are willing to go deep into the underlying business mechanics.
•Fintech, payments, or credit experience matters more to us than travel experience.
•You'll do well here if ambiguity does not slow you down, you like going deep into difficult problems, and you want to be accountable for what your product actually delivers.
Conditions
You can move extremely fast. There's very little red tape, teams make their own product decisions, and the culture is much closer to ask for forgiveness than wait for permission. You own the path to the outcome. You'll agree what success looks like, then decide with your team how to get there. This role comes with meaningful equity, so when we hit our next growth milestones, you get real upside in the company you're helping build.
