Description
In the event of a claim, it becomes clear whether an insurer delivers on its promise. As Senior Product Manager Claims (w/m/d/x), you take end-to-end responsibility for a strategic core area of the EMIL Insurance Suite and shape how insurers process claims digitally, automatically, and in a customer-friendly way, from notification to payout. If you want to take a product to the next level both strategically and operationally, this is the role for you.
Tasks
•Develop a clear vision and prioritized roadmap for the Claims area and drive product success, from first notice of loss (FNOL) to payout.
•Shape the automation of the claims process: rule-based and AI-supported claim reviews, straight-through processing, and efficient workflows through to settlement and payout.
•Drive structured discovery processes and write exceptionally clear requirements so that we can ship quickly and at a high level of quality together with Engineering and QA.
•Actively incorporate AI into your daily work to operate at a higher level, for example by using structured prompts for rapid prototypes, automated pipelines for user feedback, or data-driven specifications.
•Communicate priorities clearly to leadership and customers, and measure the success of your features using data, always keeping the user's perspective in mind.
•Shape smooth collaboration in the claims process for all stakeholders, from status communication and task management to dynamic document templates.
Requirements
•7+ years of experience in product management in a B2B SaaS, InsurTech, or FinTech environment.
•Strong operational drive and clear outcome orientation: You take true ownership from day one and drive initiatives through to successful implementation.
•AI fluency: You can clearly demonstrate how AI has made your work measurably faster or better in recent months, for example through reusable prompts, AI-supported data analysis, or automated workflows.
•In-depth knowledge of agile frameworks and requirements engineering, as well as confidence using common PM tools (Jira, Figma, Analytics).
•Excellent analytical skills and fluent German and English (C1), enabling you to communicate confidently between Tech and Business.
