We are seeking a strategic, business-focused analyst to drive transformation across supply chain master data, business processes, and operational performance within Medtronic's Global Service & Repair organization.
This role is ideal for a business analyst, process improvement leader, or supply chain transformation professional who understands the critical connection between high-quality master data and effective business operations. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in Equipment Master, Material Master, and Vendor Master data to identify opportunities, influence decision-making, and drive improvements that enhance scalability, operational efficiency, and business performance.
As a trusted advisor to business leaders, this individual will partner across Supply Chain, Service & Repair, Operations, IT, Enterprise Master Data Management (MDM), and Data & AI teams to define priorities, solve complex business problems, and ensure sustainable process and data solutions. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to confidently engage with senior leaders while translating business needs into actionable strategies and solutions.
This is not a transactional data management role. Rather, it is a strategic position focused on business transformation, process excellence, governance, and the effective use of master data as a business asset.
Primary Responsibilities
•Partner with Supply Chain, Service & Repair, Operations, and business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and operational excellence.
•Help create scalable processes and capabilities that support future business growth and digital transformation initiatives.
•Serve as the primary business liaison between Global Service & Repair, Enterprise Master Data Management, Data & AI, and IT teams, ensuring business priorities are effectively translated into actionable initiatives.
•Drive transformation initiatives involving Equipment Master, Material Master, and Vendor Master data to improve business performance, scalability, and decision-making.
•Analyze business processes, data flows, and system interactions to identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimization across enterprise platforms.
•Lead the development of business requirements, process designs, business cases, and implementation plans that support strategic objectives.
•Influence enterprise master data priorities and governance strategies by ensuring business needs are represented and aligned with organizational goals.
•Facilitate cross-functional discussions with stakeholders across regions, functions, and organizational levels to drive alignment and achieve business outcomes.
•Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, MDM teams, and technical resources to define priorities, refine requirements, and support solution delivery.
•Monitor business process performance, data quality, and adoption metrics to drive continuous improvement and value realization.
•Support change management activities including stakeholder engagement, communications, training alignment, business readiness, and implementation planning.
•Champion standardized processes, governance practices, and accountability models that improve the quality and usability of enterprise master data.
•Translate complex business challenges into sustainable process, data, and technology solutions.
•Improve the quality, consistency, and governance of Equipment Master, Material Master, and Vendor Master data, to enable more efficient planning, sourcing, inventory management, service delivery, and operational decision-making.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
•Expertise working with Equipment Master, Material Master, and/or Vendor Master data within large-scale enterprise environments.
•Experience working within SAP environments, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, SAP MDG, or related platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience supporting supply chain, service operations, manufacturing, aftermarket service, or repair organizations.
•Strong facilitation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
•Experience working effectively with senior leaders and influencing decisions across complex, matrixed organizations with diverse stakeholders.
•Experience with business process transformation, operational excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
•Experience translating business requirements into practical process, data, and technology solutions.
