PMO in ERP

Junior PMO / Project Specialist role supporting Booking.com's New ERP – BTL on RISE programme (S/4HANA & BRIM), handling PMO administration, governance meeting logistics, RAID log tracking, and status reporting. Requires 1–3 years of project coordination or operations support experience, working knowledge of Jira and Confluence, and basic Excel/PowerPoint skills. About the Role
Our client, Booking.com, is looking for a Junior PMO / Project Specialist to support the New ERP – BTL on RISE programme (S/4HANA & BRIM). Reporting to the PMO Lead, you will be the operational engine of the PMO, keeping governance, reporting, and daily ways of working running smoothly. The focus is on data hygiene, schedule coordination, reporting aggregation, and administrative rigor.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate logistics and deliverables for PMO meetings and governance forums: prepare presentation packs, capture accurate minutes, and track actions to closure
•Chase workstream leads for status updates, check data completeness, and flag missing information for reporting and dashboards
•Monitor the central RAID log, make sure owners keep items updated, and track mitigation deadlines
•Act as first point of contact for PM software (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and maintain templates
•Support the maintenance of project expenses and highlight variances against baselines
•Handle day-to-day PMO administration, including calendar management, room bookings, workshop logistics, and attendee coordination
•Balance structured PMO support with hands-on execution to keep programme momentum
Requirements
•1–3 years of experience in project coordination, business administration, or operations support
•A meticulous eye: you catch discrepancies, formatting issues, and missing inputs before materials reach leadership
•Excellent time management, juggling routine tasks (such as weekly status reporting) alongside ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
•A confident, polite, and persistent approach to chasing workstream leads and PMs for updates and action closure
•The ability to turn complex updates into clear, concise minutes, action logs, and status updates
•A collaborative, supportive mindset that makes it easy for teams to engage with the PMO
•A proactive "no task too small" attitude, plus the ability to spot operational bottlenecks (broken links, missing pre-reads, outdated templates) and propose practical fixes
•Calm and structured under shifting schedules and priorities
•Working knowledge of, or quick adaptability to, Jira and Confluence
•Basic Excel skills (tracking logs, basic formulas, formatting) and PowerPoint/Slides skills (deck formatting, visual consistency)
Conditions
•Freelance / Independent Contractor
•40 hours per week
•29 September 2026 – 28 September 2027
•€51 per hour + VAT
