Goodstack

People Operations Generalist

In short

People Operations Generalist role at Goodstack, an AI-native social impact startup backed by General Catalyst, powering corporate giving and nonprofit funding for clients like Google, LinkedIn and HSBC. The role owns day-to-day People operations across the employee lifecycle — contracts, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS, payroll inputs, benefits, immigration/right-to-work support, and recurring People reporting — working closely with the Head of People & Culture. It demands at least 2 years of hands-on HR/People operations experience in a fast-moving organisation, strong attention to detail, independent ownership of recurring processes, and familiarity with UK employment practices and multi-country/EOR employee administration. Hybrid role based in the UK, full-time, mid-level.

About Goodstack
If you've been looking to join a fast-growing startup with a bold vision of a world where doing good is built into everything we do, then you've found the right place. Backed by General Catalyst, the same investors behind Stripe and Airbnb, we're building something truly extraordinary. Our mission at Goodstack is to revolutionize how the world does good. As a fast growth, AI-native social impact startup, we power global change through technology. We enable companies to seamlessly integrate positive impact into what they do through a unified platform while supporting nonprofits in gaining access to cutting-edge technology and finding new funding streams. Global brands, including Google, OpenAI, TikTok, LinkedIn, HSBC, Atlassian and Twilio - as well as thousands of nonprofits, including the Red Cross, Cancer Research, and Oxfam - use Goodstack to make a difference. In 2025 alone, we facilitated $5 billion in donations to good causes.
Join us as People Operations Generalist to help us build a People function that is simple, dependable and ready to scale. Goodstack is growing quickly across multiple countries, and we need someone to take ownership of the day-to-day operations behind our employee experience. You'll work closely with the Head of People & Culture, taking responsibility for the operational side of the function so that our people, managers and teams get the support they need. We're looking for someone who's brilliant with detail, takes ownership from start to finish, spots problems early, and enjoys finding simpler ways of working.
