People Operations Employee Data Specialist

Uber is looking for an Employee Data Specialist to join its People Operations team and manage employee data, complex HR lifecycle transactions, and Tier 2 escalations across the region.
What you'll do:
•Manage complex employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, job changes, and terminations
•Own and resolve Tier 2 People Operations escalations
•Research and resolve employee data discrepancies together with Payroll, IT, and People Ops teams
•Maintain HRIS data quality and conduct regular audits
•Support UAT for HR system enhancements and new functionality
•Analyze ServiceNow cases and HRIS data to identify recurring issues and improve processes
•Help develop self-service and Tier 1 knowledge content, including content used by AI
•Prepare reports and dashboards for People Ops leadership
•Work with employees, vendors, and Centers of Excellence across the region
What they're looking for:
•2+ years of HR experience with direct experience in HR data management
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
•Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle, or similar
•Experience in shared services or a centralized HR environment is preferred
•Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
•Analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis
•Ability to handle confidential employee information
•Experience with HR transactions, data audits, and process improvement
