Your role
As a Network and Security Technician you get an important role in ensuring a stable, secure and well-functioning network environment. You work closely with our IT architects and other internal stakeholders to implement, maintain and further develop secure communication between development, production and central IT environments.
In the role you are responsible for the administration and further development of the central network infrastructure within your mandate. You work with network segmentation, firewall configuration, troubleshooting and improvement work, and contribute to ensuring that changes are carried out in a structured and controlled manner. The work takes place in close collaboration with Central IT, security functions and the business, which places high demands on technical competence as well as security awareness and good documentation.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible and has a strong security focus. You thrive in a role where you get to analyze, troubleshoot and develop solutions in both large complex IT environments and smaller IT environments, and work methodically to ensure stability, security and traceability. You are used to planning and carrying out changes in a controlled manner, including impact analyses, testing and rollback planning. You work independently and take your own initiatives, while also valuing and contributing to good collaboration.
To succeed in the role, we believe you have:
•Several years of experience working with corporate networks and production-critical infrastructure
•Good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SD-WAN and network segmentation
•Experience with firewalls, VPN solutions and switches
•Experience troubleshooting network infrastructure, including firewalls, name resolution and routing, as well as troubleshooting in Linux, Windows clients and I(OT)
•Good understanding of security principles such as least privilege, separate administrator accounts, MFA, PAM and traceable administration
•Experience with change management, impact analyses, testing and rollback plans in production environments
•Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written
It is advantageous to have experience with separated development environments, OT environments, test equipment or legacy systems.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security protection regulations in force at the time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
