Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer

We are currently looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer for a project with a mid-sized company in the IT and infrastructure sector.
The client's central ERP/CRM system is based on Business Central 14 and serves as the main source of company data. Their existing customer portal is being replaced by a modern Next.js-based solution, and the main goal of this role is to build reliable REST interfaces between NAV/BC, the new portal, and process automation systems.
This is a hands-on development role focused on API and integration work.

Responsibilities
•Develop REST endpoints in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
•Build integrations for the new customer portal and process automation system
•Implement error handling and retry mechanisms
•Maintain API specifications using OpenAPI
•Coordinate API contracts with the frontend team
•Secure access through middleware and technical user accounts
•Test, troubleshoot, and document interfaces
•Support stable and reliable data exchange between NAV/BC and external systems
MUST HAVE
•Several years of development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
•Strong hands-on experience with REST API development in NAV / BC
•Experience integrating NAV / BC with external frontends or third-party systems
•Good understanding of API design and system integrations
•Experience with error handling, retry logic, and secure access
•Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready solutions
•Pragmatic and delivery-oriented development approach
•English B1+

•Experience with Business Central cloud migration
•Experience working with modern frontend teams
•OpenAPI / Swagger knowledge
