About the Role
At flaconi, we are pushing the boundaries of e-commerce logistics. As we expand into new international markets, our logistics operation is at the very heart of our business strategy. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Logistics IT Project Manager (all genders) who thrives at the intersection of operational reality and executive vision—someone ready to revolutionize our warehouse systems, drive automation, and ensure logistics plays a starring role in our growth.
Responsibilities
•Take a leading role in shaping our warehouse systems to fuel flaconi's international market expansion, directly influencing our long-term logistics strategy.
•Bridge clear communication between technical engineers, fulfillment staff, and executive directors—translating complex operational challenges into clear decision frameworks for leadership.
•Spend at least 2 days a week on-site at our fulfillment center in Halle (Saale) to support our users, stay close to daily operations, and tackle systemic issues right where they happen.
•Cover end-to-end IT project management for roadmap initiatives, coordinating internal business/tech teams, external development resources, software vendors, and logistics providers.
•Drive and enable AI and automation adoption across our warehouse workflows (from inbound to outbound) while sustaining top-tier operational reliability.
•Steer our warehouse operations toward maximum efficiency, high performance, and seamless automation alongside our Enterprise Apps department.
Requirements
•Proven track record in IT project management within a fast-paced e-commerce, logistics, or fulfillment environment.
•Extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their integrations with enterprise platforms (ERPs, shop systems, Master Data Management).
•Understanding of AI principles and a passion for actively leveraging AI in your daily work to work smarter and boost productivity.
•Hands-on mentality and a curious mind—with drive, ownership, and an analytical mindset, you are always eager to step onto the warehouse floor, challenge the status quo, and resolve operational escalations quickly.
•Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust and speak fluently to tech engineers, fulfillment teams, and executive stakeholders alike.
•Readiness to work on-site at our fulfillment center in Halle (Saale) at least 2 days per week.
•Business fluent English and German skills.
