Flowserve

Lead, Supply Chain Programs

In short

This role leads the development of a nuclear supply-chain framework for Flowserve's global pumps business, coordinating Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Manufacturing. The company is an industrial manufacturer, and the position requires cross-functional project leadership without direct authority over supplier qualification, compliance, and sourcing. It demands 10+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or program management in a regulated industrial environment, plus a bachelor's degree in a related field; nuclear industry experience with ASME Section III is preferred.

Your Role and Impact
At Flowserve, you will build and lead the nuclear supply-chain framework supporting our global pumps business. As the cross-functional project lead, you will connect Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Manufacturing to create a repeatable operating model for nuclear customers. Your leadership without direct authority will drive supplier development, compliance governance, and project-delivery discipline to ensure our supplier base is fully nuclear-ready.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a scalable nuclear supply-chain framework and site-specific procurement procedures.
•Coordinate cross-functional reviews to resolve barriers, drive accountability, and mitigate threats to supplier qualification, compliance, and delivery.
•Establish and manage the nuclear supply-chain roadmap, including project plans, risk registers, decision cadences, and leadership reporting.
•Drive nuclear project sourcing from strategy through award and execution, balancing cost, capacity, schedule, and quality requirements.
•Build, qualify, and mature a capable nuclear supplier base through structured assessments, audits, corrective actions, and risk segmentation.
•Translate nuclear codes, customer specifications, and quality obligations into practical supply-chain and operational deliverables.
•Develop and deliver targeted training for personnel to reinforce expectations regarding material traceability, supplier qualification, and procurement controls.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, business, or a related discipline.
•Ten or more years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, operations, or program management in a regulated industrial environment.
•Demonstrated ability to lead through influence without direct authority, driving cross-functional programs and actions to closure.
•Strong ability to simplify complex technical requirements and communicate effectively across engineering and supply chain teams.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience working within the nuclear industry, including familiarity with ASME Section III and regulatory flow-downs.
•Knowledge of nuclear supplier qualification, audits, material traceability, and counterfeit-item prevention.
