Ampacity is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Program Manager who owns every open PO on their aligned supplier, from execution through delivery complete, across both dropship (to site) and stock (to warehouse) orders. Supply Chain Analysts own the commercial side of each order; this role owns the operational side, getting it delivered, complete and correct, catching and resolving deviations before they become real problems.
Location: Remote
Time Zone Preference: Central or Eastern
Pay Range: $70k–$80k
Responsibilities
•All POs: Runs internal and supplier kickoffs; when anything changes, alerts the internal team, updates records, and keeps vendors aligned.
•Dropship (to site): Holds weekly check-ins with the PM team before projects start to align on schedules, logistics, and needs; once deliveries begin, manages schedules, inventory, misses, PODs, and photos.
•Warehouse (stock orders): Manages schedule holds and pull-in requests, and resolves quality issues, shortages, overages, and damaged material; escalates misses.
•Communication: Communicates up and down, resolves issues independently where possible, and escalates when needed.
•Weekly reviews: Works from the supply/demand reporting distributed by the Director to stay ahead of upcoming needs.
Working Relationships
This role requires close, ongoing partnership with the inbound team: coordinating on shared priorities, supporting Emilie's team's workload, and keeping communication tight across both groups so neither side is caught off guard by the other's schedule or issues.
Requirements
•Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or project coordination, ideally within construction, industrial, or capital projects environments.
•Strong working knowledge of inbound logistics, freight/trucking operations, and 3PL management.
•Excellent communication skills, with a track record of coordinating across vendors, carriers, project teams, and site personnel — even as schedules and conditions change.
•A detail-oriented, deadline-driven approach to closing out inbound activity each month.
•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.
Benefits
•Competitive pay and 401k — because your work should be rewarded fairly.
•Time off you'll actually use: vacation, sick days, holidays, parental, and bereavement leave.
•Full medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus extra support when you need it.
•Wellness resources to help you show up as your best self, at work and at home.
•Real room to grow — we promote from within and invest in your development.
