OnTarget Labs is an international software product development company building a B2B SaaS platform for the US property management industry.
What you will do
•Shape the platform roadmap across CI/CD, release automation, environments, observability, developer workflows, and engineering productivity.
•Build internal tools, paved roads, templates, automation, and reusable engineering patterns.
•Improve local development, deployment workflows, environment reliability, and production visibility.
•Establish automated validation, quality signals, release guardrails, and faster production feedback loops.
•Partner with product engineering teams to identify delivery friction and prioritize measurable platform improvements.
•Introduce practical AI-first workflows for coding, debugging, reviews, documentation, and LLM-based automation.
Requirements
•English: B2 or higher required for excellent verbal and written communication.
•7+ years of experience in platform engineering, developer experience, engineering productivity, internal tooling, CI/CD, or related areas.
•Experience establishing or significantly improving a platform, DevEx, or shared engineering function.
•Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD, release automation, observability, environments, and production operations in SaaS.
•AWS is required, including experience with services such as VPC, ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
•Experience driving cross-team technical goals and building trust through clear communication and sound technical judgment.
Nice to have
•Production-grade Go experience or experience modernizing C#/.NET systems on Windows.
•TypeScript, React, internal developer portals, service scaffolding, golden paths, or platform-as-product experience.
•Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Datadog, or Grafana.
•Experience in fintech, payments, accounting, ecommerce, property management, or other workflow-heavy transactional domains.
•Security, access controls, compliance-aware delivery, or policy-as-code experience.
