Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain server-side applications and core platform components
•Design and implement new features and enhancements for business-critical systems
•Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems
•Ensure applications meet high standards of quality, security, performance, scalability, and reliability
•Write clean, maintainable, high-performance, and testable code following software engineering best practices
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
•Support application releases, maintenance activities, and production deployments
•Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
•Provide advanced production support and troubleshoot complex technical issues when required
Requirements
•Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
•Experience working in fast-paced, business-critical environments
•Experience with Agile software development methodologies
•Experience with application modernization, migration, or refactoring initiatives
•Strong expertise in Java 17+
•Extensive experience developing server-side applications
•Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns
•Proven ability to develop scalable, high-performance, maintainable, and testable applications
•Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and system integrations
•Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
•Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills
•Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software
•Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
•Strong sense of ownership and accountability
•Good command of English (written and spoken)
