EMS works closely with new players in the energy industry from a wide range of sectors, helping electricity, heating and mobility come together through intelligent electricity products and energy market solutions.
Responsibilities
•Manage and coordinate the IT strategy process between the IT organization, business departments and the Executive Board.
•Responsible for the development and documentation of the IT architecture, as well as supporting and managing IT projects from planning through to successful implementation.
•Own key IT systems, e.g. ERP, CRM and other core applications, as well as in-house IT developments and AI applications.
•Manage service providers and stakeholders across internal business departments, the IT organization, external service providers and group companies.
•Act as the central interface between IT and the business departments, ensuring clear, open and solution-oriented communication.
•Assess new technologies and initiate innovation and modernization projects.
Requirements
•Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
•Several years of experience in a role as a system, service or product owner, ideally with responsibility for in-house IT developments and AI projects.
•Experience developing IT architectures, developing IT strategies and managing IT projects, preferably in the energy industry.
•Sound knowledge of current IT technologies, e.g. cloud, data analytics, AI, security and microservices.
•Strong analytical and conceptual skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
•Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
