About the Role
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for our Digital Site Services team who will help build and run the infrastructure behind a large industrial site. Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following, but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.
•Operate and develop our physical and virtual server infrastructure
•Work with VMware/Nutanix, Windows Server and Active Directory
•Automate provisioning, configuration, patching and other infrastructure tasks
•Work with storage, backup, recovery and disaster recovery
•Improve monitoring, alerting, performance and availability
•Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support production-critical systems
•Help install, test and commission new infrastructure
•Work with network, platform and automation engineers as well as technology vendors
•Take part in an on-call rotation as we move into 24/7 operations
Requirements
Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below.

•Several years working with enterprise infrastructure and data center operations
•Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualization
•Solid understanding of servers, storage, backup and recovery
•Comfortable with monitoring, troubleshooting, patching and lifecycle management
•Familiarity with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code
