# Indirect Tax Manager
Last date to apply: 17 November 2026
We're one of the world's oldest start-ups — and we're just getting started. At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world-class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we're shaping the future — and we want you to be part of it.
We are now looking for an Indirect Tax Manager to join our GBS Finance organisation. You will join a team of experienced indirect tax specialists and work closely with our shared service center in Warsaw, as well as with stakeholders across the Group's finance, business and system landscape. This is a role where you get the opportunity to build - we are setting up a future indirect tax compliance hub, implementing a new tax reporting tool and shaping how we work with VAT across Europe. You will be a part of the leadership team in GBS Finance Huskvarna and report to Finance Director, Karin Wir.
About the role
In this role, you lead and develop a small team of indirect tax specialists and make sure we are compliant with relevant legislation and group guidelines in the countries where we are VAT registered - today around a dozen, with Norway, Denmark and Finland high on the agenda.
You will be a key speaking partner to the business and to our shared service center, drive and participate in projects - including the roll-out of our new indirect tax tool and our wider transformation agenda, as well as build the ways of working, routines and standards that a future compliance hub requires. The role is strategic, but you are also comfortable rolling up your sleeves and going hands-on when needed, for example in VAT filings and reviews.
About you
You are a structured and thorough leader who enjoys building. You bring people along, support individuals with different needs and drivers, and you make your team shine. You are project-driven, curious about how processes and systems connect, and you are not afraid of change - you are energised by it. You communicate with ease across levels and functions, and you have a strong commitment to excellence together with integrity, honesty, respect and business ethics.
Your skills and background
•Academic degree in finance, accounting, tax or equivalent
•Around 10 years of relevant experience, with solid and specialised knowledge within indirect tax ideally from an international company, consultancy/audit or a tax authority where you have led complex projects and acted as a trusted partner
•Proven leadership experience
•Experience with complex flows (e.g. triangulation), compliance set-up and process automation
•Strong stakeholder management skills in an international, matrixed environment
•Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written
Location
This position is primarily based on our site in Huskvarna. For the right candidate, a location in Gothenburg or Stockholm can be discussed, with the understanding that regular presence in Huskvarna is required. We believe in a dynamic, energised workplace and day-to-day collaboration, and we meet in the office at least 4 days a week (80%).
